How Berlin’s Day of Club Culture Is Protecting the City’s Nightlife
Resident Advisor has made a film about the Berlin’s Tag de ClubKultur. Government funded multi-disciplinary showcases at venues across town celebrate the vitality of the local scene.
The celebration purposely coincides with “tag Der Deutschen Einheit’, a national holiday commemorating the reunification of West and East Germany
Tag der Deutschen Einheit, or German Unity Day, is a national holiday to commemorate the reunification of East and West Germany.
In 2020, the first Tag Der Clubkultur, or Day of Club Culture, was organised on the same day to commemorate club culture’s diversity, unifying power and abiding significance for the German capital city.
In this film, Resident Advisor documents 2021’s Tag Der Clubkultur, Clubcommission research fellow and VibeLab employee Diana Raiselis:
